Arabica A Lưới Wet-Processed Coffee 250g
A Luoi coffee was once a key coffee-growing region of Central Vietnam, alongside Khe Sanh coffee. After more than 10 years of absence, Greenfields Coffee has revived high-quality coffee in Hue. The coffee is harvested, processed and roasted to create a Hue Specialty Coffee found only at Greenfields Coffee.
Hue Specialty Coffee is made from A Lưới Arabica beans with careful processing and a fairly high proportion of vine-ripened cherries, so your cup has the natural sweetness of the beans while keeping to a minimum the astringency of green-harvested fruit.
Hue Specialty Coffee - A Lưới Arabica makes a meaningful gift for friends, family and partners whenever you visit Hue. With a flavor distinctive to the Imperial City region, it is hard to mistake for any other coffee.
A Lưới Arabica wet-processed coffee
When the harvest season arrives, coffee cherries are picked ripe by hand. The cherries are then pulped to remove the outer flesh, leaving the parchment coated in a sugar-rich mucilage, and the parchment is soaked in water to ferment. Once fermentation is sufficient (about pH 4.5), the mucilage is washed away; by this point it has broken down and separates easily from the parchment. The parchment is then dried, usually on raised beds, until it reaches a moisture content of about 12.5%, and is then put into storage.

- Pour water to wet the paper (this rinse water is discarded)
- Gently pour 30 g of water in a spiral motion and let the coffee bloom for about 40 seconds
- Pour another 60 g of water in a thin, gentle spiral stream and wait about 10–15 seconds
- Pour another 165 g of water with a stronger stream, stirring more vigorously so the coffee is fully extracted.
